Kirxa in Curry Sauce

Servings: 4 portions

 

Ingredients:

    • 1 Onion
    • 1 Carrot
    • 1 Celery stick
    • 1 tbsp Lard
    • 1 tbsp Curry powder
    • Pinch of salt and pepper
    • 50ml Tomato passata
    • 300ml Vegetable stock
    • 250g Chopped cooked kirxa

Method/Preparation:

    1. Slice the onion, carrot and celery. Heat the lard in a pot on medium heat, then cook the vegetables for 5 minutes.
    2. Stir in the curry powder, salt and pepper, then cook briefly until fragrant.
    3. Add the tomato passata and vegetable stock, and mix well.
    4. Add the kirxa and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
    5. Serve hot.
